Zico: ´Flamengo played as the fans like to watch´

The match last Wednesday was Zico´s official debut as Flamengo´s executive director effectively. Right after the game that Fla beat Botafogo by 1 x 0, he talked to ZNR:

- It was thrilling going back to Maracanã beginning my work for Flamengo. And we started very well with an important victory against a difficult opponent. The team played as the fans like to watch them in every match and I congratulate everybody - said Zico.

Since the presentation, Zico has been talking to the players and showing that these games before the reinforcements´ debut are opportunities to the young athletes fight for their place in the squad.

- It´s very good that Paulo Sérgio, formed in the youth team of Flamengo, has been scored the victory goal. The Brazilian championship is balanced and this will can make the difference. The fans need to keep supporting the young players, because the team will get better - completed.
